About the Club
The club is a student-run organization leading the charge toward campus sustainability and environmental awareness. Some of our accomplishments include:
- Introduced recycling bins in Ryan Hall as a test-run for the rest of campus
- Transitioned from styrofoam products to biodegradeable cups and plates in the dining hall
- Rallied for all double-sided printers to reduce paper waste
- Increased use of compact flourescent light bulbs through a give-away promotion
- Host the annual Campus Sustainability Day during fall semester: click for Siena Life article

- Raised money and awareness for the H2O Project and Conservation International
- Serve our campus and local community by working with the Boys & Girls Club, Veggie Mobile, Holiday Giving Tree, Relay for Life, Annual Campus Clean-Up Day (news article), Tivoli Nature Preserve, St. Agnes Cemetery and various other organizations
- Helped plan the 2010 & 2011 Siena College Career and Internship Fair
- Helped make Siena College the first Catholic Fair Trade college in the nation.
- Coordinated and directed a recycling video for NYSAR3 and Alcoa Recycling Video Competition 2010 to win recycling bins for Siena: click for video
