Franciscan Earth Corps

The Franciscan Earth Corps is an environmental leadership program that prepares college students and young adults for the responsibilities of environmental justice.  The Corps is a community of visionary young people who are inspired by the life and energy of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi and come together to learn about ecology and sustainable management, explore environmental issues and ethics, engage in environmental service projects in the local ecosystem, participate in outdoor recreation (like camping, canoeing and hiking), teach environmental education to youth, and integrate their faith and spirituality into the rest of their work to advance environmental justice and protection of the environment.
