1.How do I choose a Meal Plan?
You select a Meal Plan on your Resident Housing Agreement, or you can purchase a meal plan (if you're a commuter) at the Saint Card office and will be billed to your student account.

2. How do I access my Meal Plan?
When you arrive on campus you will receive a "Saint Card." You will present that to the cashiers in the dining facilities.

3.Where can I use my Meal Plan?
Your Meal Plan can be used at any of the "all you can eat" dinign facilities located in Serra Hall and the new residential hall.

4.Do I have to purchase a Meal Plan?
Yes, if you are living on campus you have to choose one of the residential meal plans.

5. If I don't like my Meal Plan can I change it?
Meal plans may be changed the first two weeks of each semester only by completing a meal plan change form in the Saint Card office.  Feel free to browse the different Meal Plan options.

6. If I move off campus can I drop my Meal Plan?
Yes, Siena Dining Services goes by the official date from the Residential Life office and a refund is based upon the published refund policy.

7. How do I know how many meals I have left?
At any point you can ask a cashier how many meals you have remaining,  by the Siena Dining Office located in Serra Hall, or the Saint Card office in the Sarazan student center. You can also call 783-2523.

8. Can I use my Meal Plan for someone else?
No, Meal Plans itself are non-transferable and meant for the sole use of the student to whom it was issued. You can treat a friend with a guest pass, bonus dollars or debit money.  Look at your meal plan option  to see how many guest passes you have.

9. Can I add Bonus Dollars or Saint Plan Dollars if I run out?
Additional Bonus Dollars or Saint Plan can be added with cash or check in the Saint Card office. Credit card deposits can be made at http://saintcard.siena.edu/   . Bonus Dollars are an enhancement to the meal plans. They may be used in Pandini's, Sub Connection, Pepsi Cafe or Serra Hall. Saint Plan Dollars are purchased separately, and may be used in the above locations plus the College bookstore, vending machines and a few retail outlets just off of campus. Subway in Hoffman's Plaza, Domino's Pizza in Latham, CVS in Newton Plaza and Rt.9 in Latham, St. Croix Tan in Newton Plaza and Bruegger's Bagels in Newton Plaza

10.If I eat at O'Leary's (Pandini's & Sub Connection) or The Pepsi Café can I use my meal plan?
You cannot use your meal plan at O'Leary's or The Pepsi Café, however you have the option of paying by cash, Bonus Dollars or Saint Plan Dollars!

11.If I don't use all of my meals by the end of the semester can I use them next semester?
Unused meal plans do not carry from semester to semester, Bonus Dollars do, but must be used by the end of each academic year.  Meals are reset each week on Sunday morning.

12.What happens if I am sick or hurt and can't get to the dining halls to eat?
Please don't go hungry!  Call us at 783-2523.  We can help!

13.What happens if I can't get to the dining hall in time to eat?
If you can't get to the dining hall, you can always use your Bonus Dollars at O'Leary's or the Pepsi Café.  If a student has an academically related reason (e.g. class conflict, student teaching assignment, etc.) a copy of your schedule can be brought to the Siena Dining Services Office located in Serra Dining Hall and a box lunch can be provided for you. Please note this option is not provided for students leaving campus for weekend trips or holiday breaks.

14. How do I know what's for dinner?

You can always check the menu page for an updated menu.  Lunch and Dinner menus are updated weekly on Sundays.
