Mission

The mission of the Office of Residential Life is to foster a safe and healthy living environment on campus, characterized by mutual respect, acceptance of others, and an awareness of personal responsibility. While collaborating with students, faculty, administrators, and friars and ministers in residence, the office looks to advance the Franciscan, Catholic, and academic mission of the college by forging personal connections with students and families, hosting social programs, and providing leadership opportunities and learning experiences outside the classroom that complement learning in the classroom.

Notices / Announcements / Forms

• Housing Selection Information now available!  Review the 2010-2011 Housing Selection Booklet for all the details and dates related to selecting a room for the fall 2010 semester (returning students only).

• Please note that begining with the 2010-2011 academic year, all residential students will be required to particpate in a college offered meal plan (incuding those resident's who live in a townhouse).

• Forms for Housing Selection:

  • Individual Housing Selection Request Form - For students who elect not to particpate in lottery with a group and wish to have the Office of Residential LIfe administratively them a housing assignment.
  • Settling Day Form - For students who signed up for a room for the fall semester, but would like to be placed on a waiting list for another type of room/building should space in those areas become available.
  • Withdrawal from Housing Request Form - For students wishing to be released from the college's 4-year residency requirement.
  • Siena College 2010-2011 Housing License   - For Reference

• Leadership In the First year Experience - The LIFE program is intended for first-year students with an interest in leadership and leadership development.  Applications for the Fall 2010 LIFE Program are now available by clicking here.  Please download the application, complete, and then return via e-mail to Christa Grant (cgrant@siena.edu) or Courtney Mack (cmack@siena.edu) by September 1st.
