Scheduling Library Classrooms

The primary purpose of the three library classrooms is to support library instruction-related activities. Therefore, library instruction will be given first priority, followed by academic-related activities.  All other activities and functions will be prioritized on a "first come, first served" basis. 
 
All activities and functions that use these rooms must comply with the library's "Use of Instructional Facilities"  policy.

Any activity or function that takes place outside of the library's normal hours of operation must comply with the "Use of Standish Library Outside of Normal Open Hours"policy.

Food catering or changes to a room's layout must be arranged through Dining Services (783-2523) and Events (783-2730) respectively by the requestor after the requested date and time has been confirmed by the appropriate library staff member.

Audiovisual Screening Room (L-26)

This room is a large classroom with chair-style seating that has a capacity of 52 people. It can be used for video screening, lectures, presentations, etc.  It is equipped with a computer/video/DVD instructor's station, a digital projector and an enhanced sound system.
All requests to reserve this room should be made through the AV Desk (782-6741).   

Rose and Kiernan Library Instruction Lab (L-29)*

This room is a 36 seat computer lab with PC's running Windows XP. It is equipped with a computer/video/DVD instructor's station, a digital projector and an enhanced sound system.  
All requests to reserve this room should be made through the Coordinator of Library Instruction (782-6731).
*Food may not be served in this room.

McDougal Library Instruction Classroom (L-12)

This room is a large classroom with desk-style seating that has a capacity of 42 people that can be used for lectures, presentations, etc.  It is equipped with a computer/video/DVD instructor's station, a digital projector and an enhanced sound system. 
All requests to reserve this room should be made through the Coordinator of Library Instruction Office (782-6731).
