Academic Support Services
Students benefit from using the academic resources and services of the college. This professional assistance can increase student success as it provides guidance through the academic journey:
All students are assigned a faculty member in their major as their primary advisor. Undeclared students are assigned a faculty member in their School. Students may also confer with the Academic Support and Advising Center for drop in assistance or when their advisor is not available. Many academic questions can also be answered by reviewing information on our website. The Academic Support and Advising Center (SH215) can be reached at 783-2341 or email email@example.com.
Some students benefit from working with a professional advisor who can help the student create an individualized study plan. This might include a review of study habits, time management skills building, reflecting on choice of major, etc. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly to schedule an appointment.
Siena's Career Center exists to help students learn and take action to meet their career goals. This is done by providing knowledge of various kinds of work environments, and helping them sharpen their job search skills. A visit to the Career Center should not, contrary to popular opinion, be postponed until one's senior year. On the contrary, students are encouraged to visit in your first semester at Siena. The Career Center is located on the first floor of Foy Hall; phone 783-2339, email email@example.com.
