New Netherland Institute Partnership

Siena College/New Netherland Institute Affiliation

In March 2006, the New Netherland Institute entered into a collaborative affiliation with Siena College. The primary purpose of the affiliation is to integrate the Institute's expertise and activities relating to the early Dutch history of colonial America and the Atlantic World with the College's academic programs and campus environment. The affiliation is especially relevant to Siena College's departments of History, Education, and English, and to the programs in Globalization Studies and Medieval/Early Modern Studies.
