Students interested in environmental science can combine a degree in chemistry combined with the Environmental Studies Certificate, by carefully choosing elective and core courses also that fulfill requirements for both programs. Students who choose this option should work closely with their advisor to be sure that all requirements are met. The Environmental studies sequence should be started by the beginning of the sophomore year to insure enough time to complete all requirements.
