The event is co-sponsored by the Consultation Center of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany and Siena College’s Social Work Department, Psychology Department, Franciscan Center for Catholic Studies and Office of the Chaplain.   • On Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., the Franciscan Center for Catholic Studies is co-sponsoring a lecture by Greg Barrett, author of The Gospel of Father Joe: Revolutions and Revelations in the Slums of Bangkok, and The Gospel of Rutba: War, Peace, and the Good Samaritan Story in Iraq. The latter book won a 2013 Catholic Press Book Award. Place: Boland Room, Fr. Benjamin Kuhn Alumni House. For more information, please contact Dr. Tom Dickens.

  • On Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.., the Hayyim and Esther Kieval Institute for Jewish-Christian Studies will sponsor the Eighth Annual Town of Colonie Jewish Association Lecture. Fr. Dennis Tamburello, O.F.M., Professor of Religious Studies at Siena College, will speak on the topic "Adventures in Interfaith Dialogue."
