Father Julian has taught at Siena since 1970, after receiving his Doctorate in Philosophy from Fordham University. His main love is Medieval Philosophy, and he has translated two works of the Franciscan philosopher William of Ockham. He has taught in the area of Medieval Philosophy at Union College, the Franciscan Institute at St. Bonaventure University, and at the Franciscan House of Studies in Livingston, Zambia. Fr. Julian is also interested in systematic philosophy and in Bio-ethics. He has frequently been interviewed on T.V. in regard to contemporary issues and was part of a PBS special on Evolution. Fr. Julian is also the College's Archivist, and for twenty-five years has edited the Provincial Annals of Holy Name Province. Fr. Julian recently published A Philosophy of the Human Being.
