Siena Best College of the Capital Region

Siena College was named "Best Four-Year College" in the Times Union Best of the Capital Region 2010 poll. Siena College received 200 more votes than the University at Albany. Fran McCaffery, former men's basketball coach, was named the "Best College Coach" and Edwin Ubiles, Alex Franklin and Ryan Rossiter swept the "Best College Athlete" category. 

The Times Union "Best of" poll is an annual reader survey. This year marks its 13th anniversary and more than 18,000 ballots were submitted. It is the first year Siena College has won "Best Four-Year College". In 2008 and 2009, Siena placed second in the category. 

Town of Colonie Supervisor Paula Mahan congratulated the entire Siena community on this accomplishment.
