Siena Postpones Courses at Correctional Facility
Siena College has postponed plans to offer courses at the Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility in Wilton, New York.
Four for-credit courses were supposed to start on November 2, but have been delayed to accommodate a higher than expected level of interest from the Mt. McGregor Inmates. Classes are scheduled to begin in mid-January, the same time a new semester starts at Siena.
More than 140 inmates signed up to take courses on a variety of subjects including microeconomics, poetry, introduction to American politics, introduction to religious thought and a seminar called “Success in life through sales.” Contact: Ken Jubie Contact E-mail: communications@siena.edu Back to Siena News. |
