Marketing and ManagementThe program of study in the Marketing and Management Department is designed to prepare students for management careers in business, in government, and in non-profit agencies, as well as for further study at the graduate level. The objective of the Department is to help students acquire knowledge, clarify attitudes and values, and develop communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills that will help them make more enlightened decisions. The department offers two majors to help focus students' studies. Students may choose a major in either marketing or management. The marketing major prepares students for careers in advertising, public relations, marketing, and sales. The management major prepares students for management careers in business, government, and non-profit agencies.
