The Marketing and Management Department is committed to providing a values-oriented, intellectually stimulating program of study designed to prepare students for careers in business, and for further study at the graduate level. Led by an engaging faculty, accomplished in academic principles  and first-hand business experience.

The program of study in the Marketing and Management Department is designed to prepare students for careers in business, in government, and in non-profit agencies, as well as for further study at the graduate level.

The Department strives to help students:

  • Acquire knowledge

  • Clarify attitudes and values, and

  • Develop communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills that will help them make more enlightened decisions.

The Department offers two majors to help focus students’ academic program and career direction. Students may choose a major in either Marketing or Management.

The Marketing major prepares students for careers in brand or product management, advertising and public relations, marketing research, sales management, international marketing, and a host of related areas.

The Management major prepares students for management careers in business, government, and non-profit organizations in human resources, technology, health services, retail management, administration, sports management, and a variety of other management related areas.
