• MEET The Director

    Eugene Farley '77 came to Siena with over 25 years of experience in tax administration and financial reporting. For the past 17 years Farley was the director of the New York State Department of Tax and Finance’s Accounting Bureau. Farley holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Siena College and an M.B.A. in finance from Russell Sage College. He has taught accounting as an adjunct professor at several area colleges including Siena. During 2005-2006 Farley was the vice president of the New York Society of CPA’s Northeast Chapter. His areas of expertise are taxation and financial reporting.

Accounting - Masters

The M.S. in Accounting Program at Siena College prepares students for careers in the accounting profession.  

Program features:

  • A one-year, full time commitment 
  • Eight three-credit-hour required classes 
  • Two three-credit-hour electives 
  • Addresses 150-hour educational requirements in New York

The program was designed primarily for current Siena College Accounting majors wishing to stay for their fifth year and take advantage of the small class environment and student centric faculty they are accustom to.  The admission committee will consider applicants from other colleges who have an accounting degree and Siena students from other majors who have the prerequisite courses.
