The mission of Institutional Effectiveness is to provide guidance regarding evidenced-based decision making and continuous improvement to the administration, trustees, faculty, and other internal and external constituencies of Siena College.

To accomplish its mission, the Office:

  • Helps plan and implement strategies that assess the extent to which Siena achieves its mission and strategic goals. (Strategic Planning)
  • Provides leadership and administrative support for Siena’s outcomes assessment processes. (Assessment)
  • Collects, organizes, maintains, and analyzes institutional and other data to support College decision making and management. (Institutional Research)
  • Maintains an ongoing relationship with Middle States Commission on Higher Education and facilitates the process of reaffirmation of accreditation. (Accreditation)
