Fr. Sennen San Fratello, O.F.M.

Fr. Sennen San Fratello photoFather Sennen San Fratello, O.F.M., who hailed from Batavia, N.Y., entered the Franciscan Order in 1952 and was ordained to the priesthood on April 25, 1958. After teaching at St. Bonaventure University and Bishop Timon High School, he came to Siena to teach British and American Literature, World Drama, and varied courses in English Honors. He was involved in the English Internship Program and for several years he was Supervisor of student practice teachers of secondary English level.

Fr. Sennen was the first officially appointed archivist of the College and was also the Curator of Siena's art collection. In addition to his ministries at Siena, Sennen was a volunteer Chaplain at the Albany Veterans Medical Center and also worked as a volunteer at the local AIDS hospice.

Fr. Sennen died on Oct. 2, 2008 at our friary in Ringwood NJ. May he rest in peace.
