Inauguration

 “A Time to Begin Again”

On October 1, 2007 Siena College celebrated an important event in the college's history- the inauguration of our tenth president, Fr. Kevin Mullen, O.F.M., Ph.D., '75.  The Inauguration was held in the Alumni Recreation Center (ARC) with an academic procession of Siena students, trustees, faculty, administrators, and representatives of other universities and colleges proceeding from the Academic Quad to the ARC. Approximately 2,500 people attended the event.

Although Fr. Kevin assumed his duties on June 1, 2007, the Inaugural  served as the formal introduction of the new president to the Siena community.

The keynote speaker for the inaugural was Fr. Ken Himes, O.F.M. '71, currently Chair of the Department of Theology at Boston College.
