Art and Essay Celebration

The Art and Essay Celebration

Each year over 500 students from over 60 schools from the Albany Capital Area, under the guidance of their teachers, create a splendid array of art work, essays and poetry in honor of Siena's Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. A new theme, which is generated from the work of the MLK lecturer, is chosen each year. These works are displayed on the Siena Campus during a special event where the children, parents and teachers come to hear music and stories while they view the works and enjoy the healthy snacks provided by Sodexo. The works are also on display during the night of the MLK lecture.

The submission deadline is November 11th
