Hayyim and Esther Kieval Institute for Jewish-Christian Studies

The Kieval Institute Fall Colloquium will take place on October 27-28, 2013. Dr. Zev Garber and Dr. Pheme Perkins will present on the topic, "The Jewish Jesus." Online registration available.

The Kieval Institute’s programs bring the Franciscan vision of the college to life.

The Institute creates a learning atmosphere in which the wealth of human diversity can be celebrated on campus.

The Institute provides programming that improves the academic environment for Jewish faculty and students by making research funds available, improving the library's holdings and by bringing major scholars to the campus.

In conjunction with Sodexho food service and the Vaad HaKashruth of the Jewish Community Federation, the Institute provides kosher food during its events.

These  programs have created an opportunity for Jews and Christians to meet together to discuss areas of mutual concern, to express their diversity and rejoice in their commonalities.
