Many of the ticketed events fill up quickly, so be sure to return your registration form as soon as possible. (Oktoberfest Dinner is SOLD OUT.) While supplies last, registered families will receive a gift during check-in. The registration deadline is Friday, September 23rd. Schedule of Events
Friday, September 30
4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Check-In, McMahon Atrium – Sarazen Student Union
Pick up your final schedule and any advance tickets that you purchased. Pre-registered families will receive a free gift while supplies last.
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Family Reception, Sarazen Student Union 240-243
Join the Family Reception, where families reunite and enjoy light refreshments.
7:30 p.m.: Late Night Sarazen, Sarazen Student Union 240-243
Travelin’ Max will have you up on your feet or dancing in your seat! This show comes packed with tons of giveaways, prizes, conga lines, sing-a-longs and a diverse catalogue of dance music from every decade!
9:00 p.m.: Late Night Sarazen, Sarazen Student Union 240-243
Open Mic Competition and Coffeehouse. Listen to the musical talents of our students and enjoy refreshments and desserts.
Saturday, October 1
7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Breakfast, Serra Dining Hall
$8.25 for all guests. Students on a meal plan may swipe their Saint Card.
8:00 a.m.: Annual Family Weekend Golf Tournament, Mill Road Acres Golf Club (Executive Course)
Registration for this event has closed. Nine holes of golf for $20.00, including a Continental Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Golfers should check in with the starter no later than 7:45 a.m. Other options include: Riding Carts $15.00, Pull Carts $2.50, Club Rentals $5.00. A limited amount of tickets are available, first come first served. Please register by mail. This event will occur regardless of inclement weather, refunds will not be given. This is an opportunity for families to experience Siena’s rich academic environment. Professors from the School of Liberal Arts will present mini-lectures on today’s hot academic topics. Sit in on these free lectures to discover what students are learning about at Siena.

Get a head start on holiday shopping with the popular Craft Fair in the Sarazen Student Union and the Saint Spirit Fair on the Lonnstrom Landing. Free Mr. Snowman Ice Cream, Big Chair Photos and Creative Names! Live entertainment beginning at noon.

1:00 p.m.: Blessing of the Animals, Lawn in Front of the Standish Library
St. Francis delighted in God’s presence wherever he found it, even in the least of God’s creatures. In remembrance of Francis’ love for all creation, bring your pet dog, cat, hamster, parrot, elephant or giraffe to our annual feast day blessing of the animals.
4:30 p.m.: Family Weekend Mass, Alumni Recreation Center
In keeping with our Franciscan and Catholic tradition, the celebration of the Eucharist is an integral part of our Family Weekend activities. All are welcome.
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Oktoberfest Dinner, Massry Commons ***SOLD OUT!***
A lively event, complete with polka music and dancing! Oktoberfest-themed menu, music by the Black Forest Boys, a German Polka Band, and entertainment by the Schulplattler Dance Ensemble. $15.00 per person. Doors open at 5:15 PM. *Students may NOT use their swipe cards for this ticketed dinner. They must buy a ticket as well. Include your student(s) in your count for the number of family members attending the dinner when purchasing tickets.
