Spring Seminar on Ecumenical and Interfaith Dialogue

Fr. Dennis Tamburello, O.F.M. is teaching the Spring 2015 Religious Studies/Honors Seminar on Ecumenical and Interfaith Dialogue. The course will examine several of the dialogues that have taken place between the Catholic church and other Christian churches (e.g, Lutherans, Reformed, and Orthodox), as well as dialogue with other religions, particularly Judaism and Islam and at least one Eastern religion (e.g, Hinduism or Buddhism).

 
 
 
 
 
 
Kieval Institute Celebrates 30th Annual Colloquium

On November 2 and 3, 2014, the Hayyim and Esther Kieval Institute for Jewish-Christian Studies at Siena College presented its 30th Annual Colloquium, on the topic "Imagining Sacred Space." Scholars in residence were Steven Fine of Yeshiva University and Joan Branham of Providence College. Dr. Mary Walsh Meany of Siena College was the respondent.
